Mark Bagley, raised in a military family and one of seven siblings, loved comics growing up and always dreamed of becoming a professional comic penciler. In 1983 Marvel comics published The Marvel Try-Out Contest. Mark entered and won first place. Mark’s first published work was for Marvel’s New Universe’s Nightmask.
During his long career Mark has worked on virtually every Marvel title. He is known for long, successful runs on titles such as The New Warriors and The Thunderbolts. He is best known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man and his and Brian Bendis’ record setting run on Ultimate Spider-Man.
Mark left Marvel to work for Dc, and for 3 years worked on such titles as Batman, Trinity, and Justice League. He returned to Marvel to work on The Death Of Ultimate Spider-man. His most recent projects include stints on The Fantastic Four, The Hulk, The X-men and he is currently working on a Venom miniseries.
Mark lives in Georgia with his wonderful wife Pattie, and near his daughter and three awesome grandkids.
